  this magnificent bijar sampler rug is one of the most unusual collectible pieces from the northwest of Iran. Lack of transportation and means of travels to far distances was the main reason for making of sampler rugs.in opposed to carrying many many large room sized rugs weavers would take the sampler rugs to the big city merchants and show them their skills and workmanship.this particular piece is a fascinating work of art which is highly sought after among the collectors and it is made of pure lamb wool with all natural dyes.a real beauty!!!
