  This is a magnificent lilihan carpet from the central part of Iran. the predominant color is light burgundy red with the traditional sarouk design.this spacious floral design makes this carpet a wonderful addition to any settings both formal and informal. lilihan carpets are generally categorized as tribal weavings.this particular piece is a good example of a fine lilihan design with great amount of detail and complexity.a very charming rug.
